A VC wanted to eat dinner with the entire founding team before cutting the check.
The convo was super light, and I mostly stayed out of the way, keeping quiet. That is, until the VC humble bragged that he was on the Marvel board, and they’re developing a Black Panther film.
I came alive and almost jumped out of my seat. “Who will play Panther?”
The VC smiled. “Everyone is interested”.
“Everyone” whittled down to Chadwick Boseman, may he rest in peace.
The next Black Panther movie won’t have T’Challa, and they’re wisely calling it “Wakanda Forever”. The next film must find a new actor to pick up as T’Challa.
